aaaah crap,
my os HDD on my qnap died today, so i had to reinstall debian on the new drive, and i can't install wheezy anymore (using a net installer, only option to install debian) :(, so no OMV for me?
solved, did some searching in the debian ftp and found a wheezy installer
you can add the Qnap 220 ts 
,cpu: kirkwood, ferocon 88FR131 rev1, armv5tel, ram: 512mb, eth: mv643xx_eth (thats what the driver sais)
well; i have a full debian wheezy on my QNAP 220, kirkwood is fully supported by wheezy.
first in installed debian by using this guy's EXCELENT turtorial and support.

and then i added the OMV repo and installed kyzalec by apt-get
and voila... victory, no more buggy Qnap software (from my experience ofcourse)
yes is is kirkwoord and i have it running for over 8 months now and i have no complaints... it does what is has to for me
but i could do a apt-get install calibre on my system... is this something else then?

well i fave 3 nfs shares for the media files and 1 for a nfs boot for my pi.
for your media shares make sure the 'insecure' option is present.

but for your xbmc share thats a different story 
settings, i don't know but db, look at the xbmc wiki
use upnp or an sql DB on yous nas

i installed calibre on my installation (on a QNAP nas)
but when i open the calibre tab i get the following error:
