Hey, I'm really new to this NAS stuff and bought a HP Proliant DL360 G7. It was recommended to me by a co-worker since he has a couple they he uses. I was looking at using FreeNas, but found out that I can't use any raid controllers and I guess the onboard controller's raid cannot be turned off. I'm looking at building a NAS for my plex server as well as storage for my wife (she's a photographer) with redundant back ups. Is OMV a good way to get this done on this type of server?
