ok, removed extplorer, again communication failure in web GUI
    then I removed autoshutdown

now I see the shares and zoneminder works and I do not seem to lose network connection but I get this error when trying to log into Web GUI

    Code
    Error #0:exception 'OMV\Rpc\Exception' with message 'Failed to connect to socket: No such file or directory' in /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/rpc.inc:138Stack trace:#0 /var/www/openmediavault/rpc/session.inc(56): OMV\Rpc\Rpc::call('UserMgmt', 'authUser', Array, Array, 2, true)#1 [internal function]: OMVRpcServiceSession->login(Array, Array)#2 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/serviceabstract.inc(124): call_user_func_array(Array, Array)#3 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/rpc.inc(84): OMV\Rpc\ServiceAbstract->callMethod('login', Array, Array)#4 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/proxy/json.inc(95): OMV\Rpc\Rpc::call('Session', 'login', Array, Array, 3)#5 /var/www/openmediavault/rpc.php(45): OMV\Rpc\Proxy\Json->handle()#6 {main}
    OKHide details

new result of omv-engined -d -f as per below (new PHP fatal error)

    please help

ok, how do I do that since I do not have access to the GUI and do not know linux.
    thank you

    edit: ok, I ran
    apt-get --purge remove openmediavault-transmissionbt

then the installation proceeded with OMV 3, after a while it said problems with extplorer

I rebooted, now I get "communication failure" in Web GUI and indeed connection is lost

    i will remove extplorer now

immediately after running the command the network connection to the machine was lost

(there is a PHP fatal error at the end)

PHP Fatal error: Class 'OMVLogFile' not found in /usr/share/openmediavault/engi ned/inc/transmissionbt-logfile.inc on line 23

    Hello

I have 2 main problems after upgrade

    1. cannot login to web gui - I get an unspecifie error
but I can see the shares and can connect via putty

    2. couple of minutes after boot/ re-boot I lose the connection to the machine

please help, I just ruined a perfectly good installation of stoneburner which ran for 2 years :)

    Hi everybody

I run OMV 2.2.7 and I appologize if this has already been discussed or it is a very simple thing.

My discs are getting full and I cannot tell which directories or files take up the most space in order to delete selectively: is it the videos folder, the pictures one, the backup for my laptop etc

I have EXTplorer installed but could not find an option to at least tell me which is my largest folder.

It would be great if there was a way to do this other than using putty, i.e. a GUI would be the best option for me, but I'll take any method.

Your help is very much appreciated.

    thank you
I will try the commands when I get home, right now I'm at work.

my /dev/sda device definetely contained a filesystem, I created it with OMV (ext4), I copied files to it and I was able to access the shared folders on it before it disappeared, so something must have happened to it.

if you are saying that because it is not in the returned list of the FileSystemMgmt::getList RPC then it is probable there is no file system on it, then this means the filesystem was somehow deleted or corrupeted - could this be a hardware problem with the disk itself?

I am wondering what solutions I have to access the data on this disk.

the first device is my missing hdd
the second one is the previous storage disk which I removed
last one is the OMV system disk

    Code

    Hello
I kindly ask for your help

I run OMV 2.1.1 and recently I replaced the main drive used for storage

tonight I used WinScp to move some files from an external HDD to the new main HDD of the unit - I got some errors and afterwards the filesystem of the main HDD simply disappeared from the OMV interface and I no longer can acces my shared folders. WinScp does not see anything inside this drive as well.

this is how it looks now: the drive exists and it is seen in the Physical Disks tab - it is the one with 931 Gb, the other one being the system disk

and this is the filesystem page where this drive is no longer visible, but instead I get this "OMV.data.Store.ImplicitModel" thingie.
actually there are 2 of them because one appeared after I removed the initial HDD used for storage.
needless to say, I did not remove these drives while the machine was on, because they are fitted inside as internal harddrives (the system disk is plugged on USB)

I would really like my shared folders back.
If I try to create a new filesystem I can see the volume, but this means losing all the data.

    thank you for your help.

    how stupid of me :))

anyway, it still does not work, could not determine which was the package as I found 2 .deb files, one was zoneminder-dbg_1.28.1_amd64.deb and the other zoneminder_1.28.1_amd64.deb
so I used the name of the first one and this is what I got:

    does not work
