For anyone who might be planning to use this firmware on a OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual based on the ASMedia ASM1153e, dont, it bricked the device and i had to restore the firmware from a backup i made with a CH341A, the manufacturer was also not helpful and wouldnt even provide me with the stock firmware file when i asked. I think the OWC Mercury Dual version of the firmware is different from most standard ASMedia ASM1153e firmwares as its using dual hard drives and all three of the controllers:
ASMedia ASM1153E (USB 3.0)
ASMedia ASM1062 (SATA)
ASMedia ASM1092R (RAID)
Here is the extracted ASM1153E firmware for the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual in case anyone has a similar issue.
