  • [HOWTO] Instal ZFS-Plugin & use ZFS on OMV

    Stupid enough I did the apt dist-upgrade. Now omv-zfs is deinstalled. And I got stuck reinstalling it. zfsutils-linux depends on insserv < 1.18 but 1.14.0-5.4+b1 is to be installed. Stupid enough thats the version wich is installed at the moment. And to me it seems 1.14 is pre 1.18. so this dependency should not exsist? Any ideas on how to fix it?


    Without restoring a omv backup?

  • Plugins that are wanted part 3

    What happened to the DNSMASQ plugin? I was waiting with the installation of OMV 0.5 cause this plugin still wassn't available. But now it's not even mentioned on the OMV-extras pages.


    My setup requires DNSMasq for providing Ip adresses and the location of my TFTP bootserver (OMV) and files on my subnet. Of course I could configure this trough the config files. But with the OMV-dnsmasq plugin life was so much easier :)
