I'm probably wrong but...
Look in the bios for "state after a/c loss" or something similar.
Set it to ""off"

group policies are to complicated for my taste and level of expertise
A batch file with a WOL.exe command is the best bet for you, unless you are willing to read up about the w7 bootup process and group policies.

To be honest, I don't even know why you are asking a question about the windows 7 bootup process, in the OMV Configuration section of the OMV forum...
Did you take a wrong turn somewhere?
It is possible to change buffer/cache folder for proxy? The system is installed on the USB drive, the performance is not enough for normal operation.
Some "Fine Tuning" options are planned for the near future.
Installing OMV on a USB stick is kind of a no no.
Surely you must have an old hard drive somewhere that you can use so the system.
Any news about acestream? I wanted it so bad
As Aaron says, it is available in the testing repo.
I am knocking up a "How To" guide, just waiting on MaBoughey to tidy up the web-browser plugin.
I installed MySQL independently from OMV,
ssh into thebox
apt-get install mysql-server
then follow the rest of the xbmc sql shared library wiki.
All sql data is stored on the OMV system disc.
I have my pi overclocked with raspbmc running from a 4gb usb stick.
arm_freq=1000
core_freq=500
gpu_freq=500
sdram_freq=500
over_voltage=6
disable_overscan=1
gpu_mem=256
force_turbo=1
I have it hard wired into my network pulling data from my OMV box over NFS.
I do not have any NFS sources listed in xbmc, everything is pulled in using the data stored in the shared library database.
You do not need to specify any media source directories on any client, except the main client that scans media to the database.

Server issues
Posted on 2014-09-13 by mrmist
Earlier today the freenode infra team noticed an anomaly on a
single IRC server. We have since identified that this was indicative of
the server being compromised by an unknown third party. We immediately
started an investigation to map the extent of the problem and located
similar issues with several other machines and have taken those offline.
For now, since network traffic may have been sniffed, we recommend that
everyone change their NickServ password as a precaution.
To change your password use /msg nickserv set password newpasshere
Since traffic may have been sniffed, you may also wish to consider
any channel keys or similar secret information exchanged over the
network.
We’ll issue more updates as WALLOPS and via social media!
Hi all,
was going to download the 1.0 iso for a fresh install but I cannot understand why on download page there's 1.0.20 version while on webpage it refers to 1.0.21
some help please?
thanks
Download the latest v1 iso, then after install do omv-update.
[quote='KM0201Unrelated to the thread.. but I just noticed your signature... LOL. What a classic movie... Now we're gonna need you to move down to Storage Room B...[/quote]
Still off-topic but,
Dave knocked this up the other day, I have no idea what he is implying...?
Hi Spy Alelo,
I have an annoying and loudish vibration coming from the drive bays on my N54L/
There are 4 x 3TB Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 in there, and the vibration only happens when the drives are spun up.
The box is only a couple of months old.
Currently I have the box laying on the ride side, kinda helps.
What would you recommend to prevent/lessen this vibration?
Cheers.
Clear your browser cache.

A raspberry pi with Raspbmc is the cheapest option.
That's a really good and positive review.
What router do you use?
I ask because mine, running ddwrt, run a local DNS and everything on my network looks to that before the secondary DNS (google).
All devices on my network can be access via hostname and IP address.
This mysql is installed by your Bittorrent i guess...
No, I installed it separately using apt.
It runs totally independent of OMV.
How do restart this service (non plugin)?
/etc/init.d/mysql stop
/etc/init.d/mysql start
or
/etc/init.d/mysql restart
Cheers for the heads up Aaron.
I figured out it was the MySQL server (non omv plugin) that was chewing the ram up.
Even after a cold boot the cache was massive.
Restarted the service and the cache size dropped back to a reasonable level.
HTH.
Happy days
Oh and Volker, longest sig evar!
