You can try to disable backports on omv-extras settings for now and run only sudo apt update to see what it says.
After disabling it, the output of sudo apt update is:

Should I go ahead with sudo apt upgrade? sudo omv-upgrade?

And the other command?
sudo apt-get --with-new-pkgs upgradeSame as omv-upgrade

This is how my System Information widget looks like:
However, I think votdev is onto something.
Can you fix it by running apt-get install openmediavault or apt-get --with-new-pkgs upgrade?
When I ran apt-get install openmediavault I got:
Code
Alles anzeigenReading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. Does that mean anything to anyone here?

The output of sudo apt list --upgradable -a:

I ran omv-aptclean and then omv-upgrade again.
It did update a few packages, but not the one I'm interested in...
-
Update:
I ran sudo omv-upgrade this morning and a bunch of packages got updated just fine. Only the omv package is being held back at the moment
-
Could it have something to do with a plugin I recently installed (I think the last successful upgrade was before installing the plugin - rsnapshot)?
-
Thanks Soma.

ZitatIf openmediavault is held back, maybe you have some Yellowbanner to accept changes on the GUI?
I checked the GUI - nothing there.
If it's helping, when I type:
apt-cache policy openmediavault
I do get:

I have tried many different apt commands, but still failing to get to the latest omv version....
sudo apt upgrade (which got me thus far to 6.0.46), keeps giving me the following output:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
openmediavault
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
