    I'm running a pogoplug. All storage attached is usb based. If I unplug one of the data(not OS) usb drives, say, one of my disks used only for backups, attached it never boots. I've tried adding 'noauto' and removing 'nofail' from the fstab but the system still fails to boot if that usb disk, or one of the others isn't attached. This is concerning because with a pogo plug there is no console unless you use netcat, and that isn't always useable. Anyway, i'd like the system to come up and provide services for whatever is still attached, regardless if I disconnect one of the drives or one fails.


    Suggestions? I've never had a problem as long as noauto was in place...
