After several tries . i finally managed to build the driver file to the kernel and the system logs shows that the raid and hba are both successfully initialized .

However , i still can't find the the storage listed in the storage tab !!!

is there anything that might be still missing .

but this line is interesting and i think it maybe the reason for the issue :

yes its a new clean install.

when trying to run the make command , here is the result:

make[1]: *** /lib/modules/5.16.0-0.bpo.4-amd64/build: No such file or directory. Stop.

yes , i know it would appear as a single disk and that is okay.

the setup is :

raid storage from Accusys A16S3-PS , which is already configured in raid6 .it is then connected to the server through an HBA card.

contacting the vendor they advised to use the following driver :

This card has no way to be flashed in IT mode. It only has the above driver. Unfortunately, the resources is very rare for it.

Hello

This my first time I tried to use OMV with a hardware Raid . I'm trying to use a storage from Accusys connected through an HBA card to the system .

now the raid is configured as Raid 6 but cant be detected on the OMV .

i have a linux driver for the storage and card but i dont know how to start or install it .

any advices?
