Hello,
I'm very beginner with OMV, I have it installed on my HP-Mini at my mom's home and she just keep it running and I have access to webGUI.
I want to install VPN plugin and be able to connect to home network and see connected hard-drives and surf in internet.
I have installed OMV 1.19 (Kralizec) and when I go to plugins page in webgui I cannot see VPN plugin there, only option to Upload file with plugin,
when I go to this page:
http://omv-extras.org/simple/index.php?id=plugins-stable
I cannot see option to download .zip file or any other file to upload.
How can I install it in webGUI?
Thank you in advance.
This is what helped me over SSH
omv-mkconf nginx
omv-mkconf php5fpm
service apache2 stop
service php5-fpm restart
service nginx restart
Apache2 is running (pid 2189).
Hello, I have problem with OWM, I've tried to install OwnCloud, I've installed it with many error windows and I'v ttir to run it, it ws showing me errors, then I decided to restart server and after that I dont see Web-admin to OWM. I only see text:
It works!
This is the default web page for this server.
The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.
dpkg -l | grep openmediavault
I still have other services running, but without gui it's useless and not stable.
ii openmediavault 1.0.29 all Open network attached storage solution
ii openmediavault-cups 1.0.8 all OpenMediaVault CUPS (network printer server) plugin
ii openmediavault-keyring 0.3 all GnuPG archive keys of the OpenMediaVault archive
ii openmediavault-openvpn 1.0.9 all OpenVPN plugin for OpenMediaVault.
ii openmediavault-owncloud 1.1.4 all OpenMediaVault ownCloud plugin
What can I do to remove OwnClould or get back to GUI without totaly reinstallation everything.
Problem solved,
I just had to go to Certificates and create new user from the list and it's going to generate certificates to download them and import to Viscosity.app
Everything seems to be working nice
Hello, I have HP Mini 110 laptop and I want to use it as VPN server mostly,
I have installed OpenVPNnas from this address:
http://dh2k.omv-extras.org/deb…o/openmediavault-openvpn/
and I've tried to configre it, but I have no idea how can I configre it to login and authorize users.
I use Mac OS X with Viscosity.app
and I want to configure few users and let them to login to my VPN network.
Please can you explain me how can I create users for VPN and give them simple settings to login?
I don't have any certificates, I didn't need them for other services, but maybe for OpenVPN it is necessary to have them, I don't know.
Please help.
