Thank you for help with the certificate-details. :)
The configurationfile you told, missed these two lines (the same values are in 'OMV_CERTIFICATE_...':
    OMV_SSL_CERTIFICATE_DIR="/etc/ssl"
    OMV_SSL_CERTIFICATE_PREFIX="openmediavault-"

OK: I marked to watch for nightly builds.
After unmarking, I had to install 'php5-pam'
=> web admin: 502 Bad Gateway - nginx
    ==> dpkg -i php5-pam_1.0.3-2_armhf.deb php5-proctitle_0.1.2-2_armhf.deb
    => web admin works again.
==> Is the current package for rpi correct?

The problems at login "Error in Skript: 192.168.0.101/extjs/ext-all.js:22" and the need to enter a passphrase on update just exist.

    Some further ideas?

So, I searched and found how to genarate a new ssh-key.

Now, I generated a new ssh-key like this:
    ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -C "my_email@example.com"

After that, I opend the web admin - I got this error and continued - but the web admin is open :) :

The next way was to see the 'actuell' certificates.
My old SSL-certificate is included and I can gernerate a new one, but I can't see details:

An update via CLI is also not possible because there is an open update and the "passphrase" is allways needed:

Yes, this could be my problem.
Blank or "openmediavault" didn't solved it - I tried before.

At the moment I can't say why I configured a ssl-certificate in OMV.
Do you know, how to reset or delete this certificate, so it isn't necessarry any more?

    I have this problem, too:

I have no idea what I should type in.

Now I can't user the "web admin interface". After login, I get a white page.

    What should I do now?

    Hi,

thank you for your bad message ;)
I saw an instruction to install the calibre-server on Raspbery Pi - but not for OMV.

Because I'm beginner: Can you explain me, which type of armel/armhf-file or -package we need?

    Hello,

I installed the Calibre-plugin from the extensions without errors.
But after configuring the "web interface" and the "book import", it doesn't works. The error-message:

    Zitat

    Failed to execute command '/opt/calibre/calibredb list --library-path "/media/a16c8c24-8ac8-4ee3-8d5a-b79f94e09aba/calibre/" -f title,authors --separator " " 2>&1': /opt/calibre/calibredb: 1: /opt/calibre/calibredb: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

From other threads I read this error-message for other systems (I'm using an raspberry pi) and I tried this code:

    Code
    wget http://omv-extras.org/testing/install_calibre.sh
    chmod +x install_calibre.sh
    ./install_calibre.sh

The installation looks fine (no error):

But the error-message at the end is the same  and I wonderes about the download of an "i686" file. Is this the correct file for my raspberry pi?

    Thanks for help :)

Reinstall proftpd was no good idea.
At the end of this idea I reinstalled OMV again - with no success for FTP.

I checked google for the error I had and found in this forum an new package of mod-vroot, compiled an raspberry pi.

    Code
    wget http://omv-extras.org/testing/proftpd-mod-vroot_0.9.2-3_armhf.deb
    dpkg -i proftpd-mod-vroot_0.9.2-3_armhf.deb

After loading this and installing it, FTP works.

At first I thank you for help and ideas.
I see, that there is no guarantee for all and there are 'only' ideas.

    This is the result:

    Hello,

on activating FTP on my Raspberry PI-OMV, I got the error "...unable to register 'memcache' SSL session...".
So I read in this forum, and I uncommented "LoadModule mod_tls_memcache.c" in "/etc/proftpd/modules.conf".

The next try is ending with a new error, I don't understand:

So who can help me activating FTP?

    Thank you for all.

First I tried to use one part of my device for ext4 and there gone something wrong.
Now I cleared the complete device - and now it works fine.

Until now, I made a backup of my drive.

Today I cut the usage in SMB of 1 drive, deleted the shared folders and deleted the "free" drive.
Now I'm trying create a new file system. But on "create" there is no device to select.

What shall I try now to format the device in ext4?

Ok. I will wait some days for 1.0.32 and try again. Thank you.
Perhabs I will change my filesystem later to solve this pending problem for the future.

So I will close this theme when the new release is installed an the problem is resolved. oK?

Thank you for your "bad" info about ntfs.

I'm sure disk-info showed the ntfs-drives before. It's prssible the problem came with OMV 1.0.31 or .30.

Do you know when the next release should come, which fix the problem?
Or should I try to copy my files and format/remount the drives by using ext4?

    Here the result:

The disk was earlier used in other systems, like a backup-disk in windows.
I remember the disk (with 2 parts /sda1 and /sda2) were automatically detected and mounted.
Filesystem is ntfs and all shown in "File Systems".

After installing OMV in Oktober there was all fine. And I build the shares in SMB-Configuration.

    Hello,

I installed OMV on an Raspberry PI some days ago. The usage with SMB is no problem (from Windows and Android).
Now I can't select a device from each menu or window.

The "Physical Disk" is correct, and the shown devices and labels on "File Systems" too.
But each menu, where I shall select a device, there is no one listed.

In System Info -> Status -> Disk usage: It is empty

    Actual OMV-Version: 1.0.31

I'm new in using this system. Please explain me, which way I have to repaire my system.
