Hello,
I'd like to set up email notifications via Gmail but I'm not receiving the emails. I've tested it with Orange, it works very well and I receive them on gmail, which I've set as my second email address
I tried with
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465 or 587 or Auto
Encryption mode: SSL/TLS / STARTTLS
Sender address: my personal address (.gmail.com)
I tried authentication by creating a password for the application.
Recipient's address: my personal Gmail address and an orange email address.
I don't understand why I'm not receiving anything.
I followed this tutorial in particular: https://docs.openmediavault.or…eneral/notifications.html and https://docs.openmediavault.or…eneral/notifications.html.
Can I get some help?

because I want to share the information with people on the same network as mine and us with the whole world
-
I want it to be available only on my local network
-
Because I need it when I'm on the move.
I would like to make them "connected" to the network via a PC.

Obviously, if I switch off the hardware, the hard disks will no longer be shared.
My aim is to make an external hard drive available for all computers. Note that I take my hard drive everywhere.
Is your solution compatible for this?

hello, I managed to install openmediavault by following the tutorial on the github link.
However, I'm not sure if it will meet my needs. With this software, I want to be able to access external hard disks on my local network (whether wired or wireless) when I connect to the PC where the software, in this case openmediavault, is installed. I need to be able to remove the external hard drives easily because I use them outside my home.
It's possible ?

as soon as I pass this command "wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.…tallScript/master/install | sudo bash" then I no longer have remote control via SSH on the raspberry

I used Wifi during intallation but after the reboot, it's impossible to connect on my Raspberry Pi with Putty and if I watch directly with a screen and un keyboard, the interface for Wifi is not available

Hello,
I'd like to set up a system that allows me to share a hard disk across my entire Internet network, while leaving it accessible so that I can take it with me every time. While surfing the net, I found s. I have a raspberry pi 3b+ and would like to install it. I have ethernet but not WiFi. Is it possible to do this using WIFI?
