So... is there another way to do it? extplorer can't do it either... is there any way to upgrade ssh? Maybe that way ... no?
-
I do.
My downloads are in one hdd and the storage in another.
-
Gives code 4.
Check here winscp.net/eng/docs/SFTP_codes#code_4I tried moving do the same partition and different folder and it worked. Is it because i'm moving to a different partition?
Already checked all the permissions as well... -
Both...

Ok, so ... the pain in the a** (aka me) is back.
Now i can't move a file or folder to another directory, gives me an error, can you do it in yours?
-
Well, it worked.
Thank you once again. You've been very helpful!
See you soon

My guess is that the host is timing out somehow... maybe because the rar file is too long.
I'll try with multiple small rars like you did with Lucy to see if it still times out. -
SO, i used again your command and it partially worked, i had to activate "use in directories" when I create the command.
But then it brings the same timeout problem after i unrar it... -
I keep calling it "winrar" but I mean "unrar", i'm sorry.
-
I used putty to access the console.
Used root login with my root password
Then I installed the way u said.See pic below:

Well, I tried now a bigger file with my command and it goes timeout 15sec, when i reconnect i find that only some files are extracted.
I disabled "Optimize connection buffer size" but the same problem occurs.I tried your command - unrar e ! and it returns:
"O comando 'unrar e KINGSTON Pen.rar' falhou com código de retorno 10 e mensagem de erro
Cannot open KINGSTON.rar
No such file or directory."
(translating from the portuguese: The command "'unrar e KINGSTON Pen.rar'" failed with return code 10 and code message:")Should I have installed winrar in this directory?
-
Hey man! I did it after installing winrar like you said.
However your command didn't work, had to use the one I previously mentioned.
Anyway, great job! You're the best.
PS: I'll try bigger files and then I'll come back to give a feedback

So, i accessed my router remotly and forward that port.
I can now access my NAS with SFTP.
However i got a new problem now, i'm using the following command:
unrar e -r *.rar -
Ok in that case i have to forward port 22 in my home router in order to access with SSH.
I'll try it tonight when I get home and then I'll post it here.Thank you mate!

Ok it seems good so far, just like accessing via FTP.
I found this command - unrar "!" - to extract to the current directory and it seems to do something but then it shows me the error "Windows couldn't locate 'unrar'" and says to check the name and try again.
There you go the steps:
1. http://1drv.ms/1AVUMJK
2. http://1drv.ms/1AVUG4K
3. http://1drv.ms/1AVUK4l -
Oh -.- My bad then, should've noticed that...
I think you're right.
Is there any alternative to do that?
The thing is, most of my downloads are in multiple RAR files that i need to extract remotely... -
