Yes, I did that. Thanks for tip!
I'll continue and report later. -
I'm new here and have set up a system for the first time. I have connected a storage device to each USB 3.0 port. 32 GB stick and a 1 TB hard drive. Now problem is, I want to copy a 21 GB video to 1 TB hard drive and opbenmediavault is telling me that there is not enough storage, even though 915.80 GB are free.
What was noticeable was display that another 20.4 GB are required.
So for the test I pretended to copy the file to the stick >>> The same display with the same value appears!!!
Something is wrong!
Can you please help me with what I have to do.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Hello everyone,
I'm new here and am just getting my first experience with openmediavault 7.
Test system: Fujitsu esprimo i3, 8GB RAM, 200 GB SSD system hard drive, data storage: USB stick 32GB and 1TB external hard drive each on a USB 3.0 port.
Installation went well. Then test data transfer:
1a from video PC i9 (Windows 10), m.2 storage via home network to a Dell workstation internal hard drive >> 110 MB/s (998 MBit/s via network) continuously until the end >>> 28 seconds
1b from video PC via home network to Fujitsu i3 (omv) to 1TB USB 3.0 external hard drive >> initially 110 MB/s, after 10 seconds 13 Mb/s to 20 Kb/s >>> 106 seconds
TESTED with EXT 4 and then with BTRFS >> much worse here!
Data transfer to the USB 3.0 stick is much better. Initially 70 MB/s, after about 20 seconds 30-40 MB/s data traffic over network 384 MBit/s.
Unfortunately, I can't think at the moment why the data transfer on the USB 3.0 hard drive drops so sharply after 10 seconds and the simpler USB 3.0 stick runs much more consistently over time.
Does anyone have a tip for an omv beginner?
Many thanks!!!
