You don't say if your system is amd64 or not but the packages are here. If you did have an amd64 system, you would:
    wget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/w/wget/wget_1.16-1+deb8u1_amd64.deb
    dpkg -i wget_1.16-1+deb8u1_amd64.deb

Of corse, my System is a 64Bit :)
So I would try it on a Test-Sys, if this will work I will do this on my Live-Sys.

    Thanks for your FirstAid!

    Hi all,

I am running OMV 2.0 with Wget Version Wget 1.13.4

If I want to grab recursivly some File from a httpS-Server.
In case of verifying the certs, Wget uses a bump of Memory.
It will take ALL the available Ram.

How can I just update Wget to the most recent Version ?
My OMV2.0 runs fine - so I will not upgrade to 3.0

    Hallo zusammen,

    Hi all,

i just want to ask why my hard drive starts unexpected from standby while the system (OMV 1.19 (Kralizec)) is running.
I have adjusted the power down Time for the Hard Drive to 20 Mins.

It will spin down after 20 mins idle time, but sometimes it spins up, but there is no need for spinning up.

Has this to do with the broadcast from the windows clients ?
Can I block these broadcasts ?

I just want the Hard Drive to Spin Up just when i Access it (once a week to update my backups).

Is there in the OMV-Log's an information why the Hard Drive spins up ?
How can i set the Log to log why the HDD spins up ?

It hat just to do with the Energy consumtion and the Lifetime of the Hard Drive.
There is no need to run in normal mode, because i just use this Device to hold my Backups, nothing more.
It's not assigned / connected to any Computer.
Just the OMV is connected to a Network, and i just want to access the HDD once a Week to get my newest Backups...

Thanks for any suggestions (possible in german, too if you want to)

Tell Volker nice Greetings from me!

I don't NEED Jessi, but i have upgraded my wheezy to jessi, and now my OMV won't run :(
So, i reinstalled Jessi, and OMV won't run too :(

    Unfortunately i don't have now a working Backup-NAS.
Now i'm thinking about my possibilities (reinstalling wheezy, try other software, do a risk and do nothing and wait until OMV 3.0 is ready)

That's why I am asking about the temporal forecast.

    Hallo zusammen,

kann mir jemand vielleicht kurz erklären was es damit auf sich hat ?

    -> "Dateioperationen auditieren"

    vielen dank

(Ob ich nun wirklich OMV 0.5 installiert habe, kann ich leider auf die schnelle nicht nachvollziehen. Es läuft jedenfalls sehr zufriedenstellend *g*)
