    Thank you for replies.

Does it work in dhcp mode?

network should reconnect after wifi has come back, you'll have to check the logs to see what's happening. You can connect an Ethernet cable in the meantime to debug.

if you cannot get past this the you should create a script…

I'll try it on DHCP first chance. I'm not sure how I'd go about the script, though...

You could try to setup a static lease in the router and then switch the pi to dhcp in the nic settings.

This is the method Aaron and I use so we always know the ip of our machines, even when booting rescue cds and…

Unfortunately, my router has poor settings section (older model, but functions rock-stable) compared to more modern ones and much of the options are lacking.
DHCP static lease is one of those. If i don't set a static IP on Pi/OMV side, it'll get a dynamic address from the router.

    Hi,

I have a Raspberry Pi 2 NAS running OMV v2.1.6. Due to circumstances, it connects to the router via WiFi and there's no alternative to that.
Problem is, whenever I reset the router, the Pi doesn't re-establish a wlan connection. I have to reset it as well.
NAS has a static local IP.

The installation is fresh, a few days old, and it updated itself to the lastest version. Dongle is TP-Link WN725N with the proper driver and it works on other distributions properly. The Router is also a TP-link.
