I can't get rid of a share I created in error either. The two remaining shared folders in use remaining on it are :
config/system/omvextrasorg/resetperms
config/system/shares/sharedfolderany suggestions on how to get rid of these two?

Thanks guys, both your replies helped to a degree, i had been pretty silly. The logon I used with my Windows 7 before upgrading to Windows 10 still existed and as soon as i used it all my permissions returned as they were font sizes returned to a useable mode and all my mail and favourites were right there as if they were never lost, which of course they werent. much relief

Just to add to the mystery I can move files between directories and drives on the NAS but not from any other places.

So everything was working fine Windows 7 on my main computer accessing OMV via web console and adding deleting moving media files on my NAS via Windows. I decided to update to Windows 10, disaster I can see the media files in OMV I can play the media files but I cannot move, add or delete on the OMV shares from the Windows 10 machine. Tried updating the security on Win 10 but keep getting the failure to enumerate message, tried all the solutions I could find on the web but nothing works. So I was hoping someone on this forum may have struck the same thing and have a brilliant solution for me.
cheers
