every couple of days my omv floods the kernel.log and syslog with this error:
omv kernel: [85446.440830] alx 0000:03:00.0 enp3s0: fatal interrupt 0x4001607, resetting

as i understand its a kernel error related to the ethernet hardware?

What can i do? I don't have a spare pci-e slot to add another NIC.

    date is correct, using ntp

i am trying to install docker on my omv5 fresh install, but i get this:

apt-get update is fine, internet connection is fine too

in apt-get update i do get this:

    Code
    Reading package lists... Done
E: Release file for http://ftp.nluug.nl/debian/dists/buster-updates/InRelease is expired (invalid since 7h 6min 27s). Updates for this repository will not be applied.

my backup disk got corrupted, with a lot of shares(i have a backup). now my system won't start, because its missing the disk and shared folders.

i decided to start from scratch with the latest omv.
I also had a snapraid, with 1 parity and 2 datadisks. Can i recover that snapraid from web interface, by selecting the same disks again in the web interface?

as FS i had mergerfs on both data disks. Is it possible to restore that with a fresh install?

    it stops fsck with:
Failed to start File system check on /dev/disk-by-label/6tbfdisk -l

After the system is in emergencymode:
    systemctl status "systemd-fsck@dev-disk-by\\x2dlabel-6tb.service

6tb contains a file system with errors, forced check
a double or bad block is being used
Multiple claimed block (or blocks) in inode 75826141: 34897920--3512725--35651583
(there are 2 inodes with multiple claimed blocks)

today i noticed my server was not booting. After connecting a monitor, i noticed it was in emergency mode.
Rebooted it, and i saw it was fsck that 6tb disk, but it doesn;t complete, and hangs at 70% every time.
I can't say i force stopped my server or so, so no idea what has happenend.

I tried booting from a gparted live cd, but then it also stops at 70%, with e2fsck using 100% cpu

What can i do? My server is not booting currently

Disconnecting the drive doesn't work either, its also not booting, because of the missing disk

i have tried to setup snapraid with unionfs:
    -1: 1x3tb for data
    -2: 1x4tb for data
    -3: 1x4tb for parity

in unionfs, i have setup 1 and 2 as one big 7tb disk(snap_7TB_share) with Existing path, most free space.
Now when i check diskusage, the 3tb has no data on it, except for some snapraid config files:

    Code
    drwx------ 2 root root 16384 dec 18 09:42 lost+found
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 907 dec 18 10:22 snapraid.conf
    -rw------- 1 root root 80750652 feb 10 13:38 snapraid.content
    -rw------- 1 root root 0 feb 10 13:34 snapraid.content.lock

on the 4tb, there is the snap_7TB_share directory with the data i created

    Code
    drwx------ 2 root root 16384 dec 18 09:53 lost+found
    drwxrwsr-x 11 root users 4096 jan 30 15:08 snap_7T_share
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 907 dec 18 10:22 snapraid.conf
    -rw------- 1 root root 80750652 feb 10 13:38 snapraid.content

all data is on the 4tb disk

    Code
    3TBhitachi:WDC4tb 6,3T 1000G 5,3T 16% /srv/05695257-4f12-47a1-90c0-013207cda27b
    /dev/sdc1 3,6T 999G 2,7T 28% /srv/dev-disk-by-label-WDC4tb
    /dev/sda1 3,6T 1021G 2,6T 28% /srv/dev-disk-by-label-parity
    /dev/sdb1 2,7T 166M 2,7T 1% /srv/dev-disk-by-label-3TBhitachi

is that a configuration error? or normal behaviour?

i added a sil3132CNU pice card too add more disks to my storage server, because my b85m itx board only has 4 sata ports.
But in omv and in commandline i cannot find anything related to the pci express card i added.

    i do see this:

    Code
    [ 0.540754] usb usb4: SerialNumber: 0000:00:14.0
    [ 0.540863] hub 4-0:1.0: USB hub found

    [ 0.541738] ahci 0000:00:1f.2: irq 41 for MSI/MSI-X

but i don't know if its related to the pcie card

    lspci also nothing

    What can i do>?

I just added a 6tb disk to my omv system, but in dmesg i see this warning:
[ 640.881011] sd 9:0:0:0: [sdg] Very big device. Trying to use READ CAPACITY(16).

    what does this mean?

i am getting this error after having a crash when i was updating omv. It was updating tar
    now this error occurs
Package is in a very bad inconsistent state, you have to reinstall it ......

when i try to remove it i cannot because :
this is an essential package - it should not be removed

    how can i fix this?

my omv server doesn't enter C7 state. I enabled it in the bios, but still only c6 is reached, i assume?

Currently using 20 watt with hdd's spinned down.
Its a b85m-itx with G3220 pentium. System runs on usb stick and its powered by picopsu

What can i do/check so it enters c7?
Its 95% of its time doing nothing, so every watt counts
