yep this is the first thing that i think, but unfortunatelly in the bios i have possibility to set CDrom drive groups and hdd drive groups for boot priority, but there arent any way to set up on the single hdd drive or single cdrom drive order, this sounds very strange for me. PC used is a bit old (like 2007), but this dont should be a problem

Hi to all, sorry if this thread isnt in appropriate section!

I have a little problem whit OMV 2.1 installed on amd64 desktop.

After installation all working fine,the system is installed on internal sata hdd, and the shared folder are locate on an external ext4 partition.
i have edited fstab file to perform automount of external drive on /media/exthdd!
My problem was born after first system restart, the PC dosnt boot and stay freeze on Manufacter (HP) logo, after some tries i understood that the problem is the external hdd, if connetted My PC dont boot up, if try to deconnect the external drive before power on all works and the system boot up fine.
Somebody have any idea for mix this issue??

i dont understand only one thing, why set up the same dns on my router is not enought for works??

ok, this is the con with static ip and des server (i choose open dns for this try)

i have set the file /etc/network/interfaces and not etc/resolv.conf because the second one is automaticcally edit from pkg resolveconf installed on mov dietro

Nello, have you mix the problem? i have the same error when try update my pkg, is possible that the server is down?

In reality my ip addresses is automatic on ethernet board, for have always same internal ip address, i set up my router, the router assign the same ip address to my device (in this case rasperei pi2) based on mac address...
suggest in any case that is better set up static ip and static des over network card?

today I tried to update pkgs source and plugin on my openmeviavault (version 2.0.15) installed on raspberry pi2, using Web GUI and terminal session too, but i can not a upgrade
by terminal session when I do "app-get update" system respond me whit more error (Paste of blog below),
this is a a problem on my machine or a problem on remote server?
