God it worked. Next time, it is uch easier in maintainence if you youe stacks, whic hare text files you can post here. The define how the container is set up.

thank you

yes, but do not stop it, but destroy and rebuild. Stopping and starting does not renew the volume mounts.
-
the mounts are the same as before
Code"Binds": [ "/srv/dev-disk-by-id-md-name-NAS-1/JDownloader/config:/opt/JDownloader/cfg:rw", "/etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro", "/srv/dev-disk-by-id-md-name-NAS-1/JDownloader/downloads:/root/Downloads:rw" ]
but according to the docs, the config is (now?) at a different place.
https://hub.docker.com/r/jaymoulin/jdownloader
If the old container was configured correctly you will have to
- destroy jdownloader
- create a backup copy of the config directory
- mount the config directory to the correct location (withapp in it)
- restart
-
yes, but I am not sure what the ui does on uninstall

how is the network traffic routed, when you use the VPN.
The explorer relies on a broadcast in the local network. If the VPN changes this, to some other network, you will not get it to work.

Do not enter the working directory /etc # before the command.
The command is lsof.
root@omv:~# /etc# lsof -u openmediavault | wc -l
-bash: /etc#: No such file or directory
0
root@omv:~# /etc# lsof -u www-data | wc -l
-bash: /etc#: No such file or directory
0
root@omv:~# /etc# lsof -u root | wc -l
-bash: /etc#: No such file or directory
0
root@omv:~# /etc# lsof +D /srv/docker-apps | wc -l
-bash: /etc#: No such file or directory
0
root@omv:~# /etc# lsof +D /srv/docker-root | wc -l
-bash: /etc#: No such file or directory

How many open files does your system have:
lsof | wc -l # may take a while to complete
I have 89812 open file handles in total
for omv:
for www-data (web server)
for root:
and for my docker apps (your path may be different)
and for docker itself (your path my be different e.g. /var/lib/docker)
Code
Alles anzeigenroot@omv:/etc# lsof +D /srv/docker-root | wc -l lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 lsof: no pwd entry for UID 1013 792
user 1013 is a user inside a container I o not need a user in the host.

If I am not mistaken, tThe error will come back once you reinstall the remoutmount plugin. The entry is not deleted from the config.xml.

See the other thread and close one. No need to ask the question twice.

/app/lychee is a directory inside the image. D you have your docker root on a mergerfs too besides the volumes?
-
Just create a share and select an existing directory on the drive using the tree icon on the right of the input field.
-
-
An upgrade does not change permissions. So it is something you did manually while upgrading.
Can you explain how you did the upgrade and tell us more about how the system is set up. On example of a share which is not working.
Are you confident using the cli? Check permissions on the console in /srv/dev-disk-by.../<the shared folder>
-
mount -o remount,rw /
edit /etc/fstab and comment out the mergerfs
reboot
in the web ui uncheck fstab in the mergerfs config, apply
I thing mounting the mergerfs failed and the system went read only.

Post the output of:
cat /etc/cron.d/openmediavault-rsync
and
grep appdata /var/lib/openmediavault/cron.d/*
How do you know it is not running and not failing?
-
Well, yes you are right. I, probably, should have asked "why" not "how".
Because you can (try). Don't know why one would do that except you have some other software wit hard coded name admin. or some company policy.

Post the output of docker inspect jdownloader
-
How did you upgrade and configure jdownloader?
docker ps -a and
docker inspect jdownloader
may give me the answer, but we can only resolve it if you post the stack / docker-compose.yml you used.
