That is why the device name changed - systemd uses predictable naming and when you remove a device from a slot, it changes the pci device ordering. -

barje Glad to see you found the solution. Votdev regards the ZFS as a 3rd party plugin and prefers BTRFS, so the first response was not surprising. But to be told to scrap what you done because you don't have the "know how" was v.poor advice when… -

It was just a permissions issue. I granted maximum permissions to the pool and I could now see the files. I moved them to the correct location and that's it.
I'm really hoping to find more help here, but I hope my solution helps someone in… -
