    I am currently trying to upgrade OMV from version 5.6.26-1 to V6 -> V7 and finally V8.
    I tried the following commands via Putty.

    sudo omv-upgrade and sudo omv-release-upgrade.

    Thanks to BernH, I took a look at the BIOS. Unfortunately, there are no PCIe options. SATA is already set to AHCI. So, unfortunately, no success.

    No but you might be able to find one for debian. Then just install omv on that. Or you could install omv on the drive in another system and then move the drive to the problem system. Just need to run omv-firstaid after the move to fix networking.

    Run the script if you have problems, but it won't hurt anything is you run it without reason.

    Hi folks!
    I upgraded to OMV 8 too, went smooth without any issues!
    One question remains: Is the Fix7to8 Upgradescript mandatory after the upgrade, or should i only run it if i run into problems?
