    I spotted a post on the blog mentioning an update to 8.07. I tried to install it from the webGUI but got the dreaded error 500 in a red dialogue box as below:

    I would suggest to stay in the GUI. That is the purpose of OMV.

    • use the GUI to update the system
    • use the GUI to apply configuration changes
    • if you encounter an error, check for help in the forum before going to the command line

    Just a quick update...
    Changing all 6x 4TB with 4x 10TB gave me the exact same issues.
    After about 1 hour of copying data to a fresh formatted disk it goes into read only mode. Same error...
    First copy to drive 1, locked up, restarted OMV, copied the rest.

    SOLVED.


    I need to force a shutdown ( reboot do not work), once shut down and power up, BTRFS pool is detected correctly.

    but still i want what is the proper mount command for next time that happens.

    I couldn't experience any issues so far w cloud-init installed but disabled.

    Edit: and I think, before doing such a radical step, somebody should look into the real impact on omv if cloud-init is just installed but not running.
