    It was deleting the snapshot but libvirt.php was still returning an error for some reason. I just changed the snapshot delete to use virsh. 8.0.5 is in the repo.

    Hi i tested LXC snapshot remove, this work's now ok.
    thanks for your good work

    but the remove snapshot on a VM there is still Invalid RPC response

    Another option: disable Wayland and use X11, a lot of remote desktop issues disappear immediately. Wayland support is still hit-or-miss across most tools, especially on NixOS.

    Best stable setup is WireGuard VPN + SSH/VNC (or NoMachine). WireGuard is simple, secure, and avoids port-forward headaches. If you want third-party, RustDesk or NoMachine tend to work better than AnyDesk/TV on Wayland.

    i have reverted to the vanilla 6.12 kernel , took some tinkering, as some proxmox kernel headers stuck around and dkms kept compiling the modules for it. also i had to reimport the pool…

    You did a lot of troubleshooting before posting this - kudos. I was going to suggest swapping out the SATA cable.

    Unfortunately, everything points to one of the disks failing. Definitely look at the SMART values - you'll probably have rather high numbers…
