    the ubuntu vm I have been testing is running portainer and pangolin fine.

    If I can get omv in a debian vm, I will just need pangolin so I think I can get this working.

    Will report back :)

    Interesting. I do have contrib there. But I don't have the non-free-firmware has VCD has. This make a difference?

    it will run omv fine but you won't be able to do much with docker.

    The always free amd instance/image/shape only has 1gb ram so maybe this will be a problem...

    If it is VM, yes. If it is a container (lxc, docker, etc), no.

    I have recently been tinkering with the free cloud compute capability available through oracle cloud infrastructure.

    I have setup a ubuntu instance using both amd and arm images.

    Now I was wanted to see if I could get omv working - for administering docker…

    I am trying to figure out how to see if/where the containers are connecting to externally, i.e. what traffic they are sending to the internet.
