If the filesystem was mounted via UI previously, a reboot should mount it. Alternatively run

I disagree. omv8 is already better than omv7. The changes between major versions are no longer very large like they were pre-OMV6. So, it makes less sense to wait. It is difficult as a dev to support two versions as well. -

The UI's descriptions of performance is always max frequency and powersave as always min frequency seem to be a bit incorrect if you have recent CPUs with intel_pstate or AMD equivalent. Now they seem to be hints to the CPU, but it can still change… -
