I have a RPi3b+ and followed exactly installation guide https://wiki.omv-extras.org/do…omv8:raspberry_pi_install. I was able to connect via SSH after RPi Trixie OS installation was finished.
Subsequent OMV Installation script runs smooth, at the end there… -

Just one info:
I removed cloud-init from my omv-test w the command stated - success --> system still working - as expected.
Some files from cloud-init are still on the system (like /boot/firmware/user-data and log files in /var/log/) , but this is no issue… -

since several years I'm using OMV with miniDLNA from OMVextraswithout issues.
since some times (I'm not sure if this is exactly when I updated to OMV8 or shortly after), miniDLNA is always aborting.

As I understand it, this should not be needed if you do at least one sync by the writecache-plugin. e.g on shutdown or on shutdown and once per day -
