With openmediavault 8.1.0 it is possible to configure the CPU freq governor via UI. See https://github.com/openmediavault/openmediavault/pull/2127 -

You can delete or keep them. The configuration is now part of the database, so this specifix env var is never used again. -

With 8.1.0 the problem is fixed. You have no governor installed, that’s why cpupower fails. -

Ok, i never had done this before and never recognized any problem with the variable settings...
