    My router is from my ISP, with a built-in Wireguard VPN, and I'm unable to reach OMV when connected to it.

    If you want a backup holder only, just mount the Shared Folder (you can create a single holder or multiple) on the external devices (laptops, tablets, phones, whatever) and use the folder to copy/paste the files/folders you want to backup.
