Connection timeout

Greetings

Haven't had omv on for a couple days (server is noisy and needs to be moved to a permanent location).

Started up the server.
Couldn't log in from my main computer.
Logged in from my wife's laptop.
Dropped that connection.
Tried to log in from main computer using Firefox - - no joy.
Tried to log in from main computer using Konqueror - - - tells me that the connection is timing out.

What do I need to change to access omv from my main box?

Yes.

Locally I'm logging in as root - - - understand that I don't have another login to the machine - - is that true?

root is the one you need. Do both of the following commands say the service is running?

service nginx status
service openmediavault-engined status

Should look like:

root@aaronlinux:~# service nginx status
nginx is running.
root@aaronlinux:~# service openmediavault-engined status
omv-engined is running

Shut off server.
Came back a while later.
Server on.
No I can connect.
