Use folder2ram plugin for SSD drives too ?

I use a SSD as OMV system drive.

I found the folder2ram plugin ( openmediavailt-flashmemory_1.9 ) .

" It allows the installation of OMV on flash thumb drives and sd card "

Can or should it be used for SSD system drive ? ? ? ?

I no longer find the special plugin for SSD drives . I think there was a sepecial version / plugin - forgot the name.

It is called flashmemory because it should be used on all flash memory in my opinion including SSDs. You can even use it on hard drives if you really want. There was never a special plugin for SSDs. The flashmemory plugin used to use fs2ram but now uses folder2ram.

Yeb, fs2ram was the name.

Why is now folder2ram used, operates better or what is the reason ?

It puts more appropriate folders in ram that fs2ram didn't and works a little differently to better support OMV.
