How to add keys to custom repo tab

    On OMV 2.x, you have to use the ID from a public key server. On OMV 3.x, you could enter the url. Since I don't know what the ID is, you only need to add it once with:

    wget -qO - "https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub" -4 | apt-key add -

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.6 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

    omv-extras.org plugins source code and issue tracker - github - changelogs

    Now that you have added it, you can find the ID from apt-key list

    In OMV 3.x I have to enter the following (for your example)?!

    Code
    https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub

    Server: OMV3.x - sorry for my bad english - my german is much better ... :P

  • oh cool! thanks!
    small question, can i take the ID and remove the repo from apt-key list and add it in the omv web interface? or do i have to keep it in apt-key list and update in omv web interface? i do not see the point of adding it in apt-key list just to see the ID and then adding it in the web ui of omv.

    omv-extras adds it to the same list with the same tools. You really only have to add it once ever using command line or omv-extras or whatever. I just added it to omv-extras to help people avoid the command line. If you want to put the ID in omv-extras, you can but you don't have to.
