Now that the dependency in OMV has been corrected, you just need to: apt-get install btrfs-tools=4.7.3-1~bpo8+1
Hi ryecoaaron,
thanks for your instant reply!
If i try to run
it doesn't work. "E: Version »4.7.3-1~bpo8+1« für »btrfs-tools« konnte nicht gefunden werden."
and if I try
it says that the newest version is installed.
Any ideas? I am on kernel version 4.9.0-0.bpo.3-amd64
Weird. I just installed it on my test VM. What is the output of: apt-cache policy btrfs-tools
You must have disabled backports.... cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault-kernel-backports.list It should look like:
deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian jessie-backports main contrib non-free
What is the output of: grep -i backports /etc/default/openmediavault
OMV_APT_USE_KERNEL_BACKPORTS="NO"
is this the reason?
is this the reason?
Yep. Change it to YES and do omv-mkconf apt then apt-get update then install it with my previous command.
great!
THANK YOU!
