I was just reading back my posts to make sure I hadn't missed anything...lol. I noticed you said for ownCloud you need AllowOverride All. I didn't change that bit in the default.conf it was already set to AllowOverride none. Would the owncloud.conf settings override the default.conf settings?.. it's set to "All" in the onwncloud .conf!
