OMV5 vs OMV4

    I was a happy user of OMV for years but with the introduction of v5 I am a bit disappointed.
    The use of docker is much more difficult than the use of packages.
    for example I had 10 websites and now the NGINX option is no package anymore but a standard docker container.


    The easy use of OMV was the main reason i used it and now i have to figure it out myself..
    Also I can not find any help regarding the docker containers and getting them to work other than the minimal info on docker hub.


    Are there more packages coming or is this the way ahead?

    Anything depends on contributions. If there is nobody who writes the plugins, then there is only one way: use Docker.


    That's sad, but @ryecoaaron (who is maintaining the most plugins) and i can't do everything ourself. An OSS lives from his users and contributions.

    tnx for the reply, I fully understand the need to reduce the workload ;)
    I will try the OMV5 environment and make use of the community to get it running again...
