Restoring encrypted FSarchiver OS Backup

  • Hey guys,

I am using Openmediavault since 2013 now :)
This night (around 4:00 AM) I made a huge mistake.
I ran "rm -r /*" under the root user.
I know "Only login to the root user if you know what you are doing"... :(
But actually my Installation is broken now, so I have to restore.
A year ago I switched from manual Clonezilla images to fsarchiver within the Openmediavault-Backup plugin.
So far so good; I got current fsarchiver backups.
I tried to restore them via systemrescuecd which won't work because of a wrong encryption password.
A Year ago when I set the backup up, I created a password with my passworddb-tool an copied it over to the WebGUI so I have actually no idea how my password could be wrong.
Is this a known bug with the plugin?

I really appreciate any help from you guys :)
