I have to leave now (looking for the kids), but if there is anything more I can do at the weekend i`d be lucky to hear about.
Leave it until the weekend, the fact that it won't stop makes no sense, it's something I have not come across.

My guess is it's related to Plex, how is it installed?
I tried it once again, without Putty, direct an after a reboot.
for mdadm --stop /dev/md127
i receeved:
mdadm: Canno get exclusive access to /dev/md127: Perhaps a running process, mounted filesystem or active volume group?
gui shows (as all services had been stopped before) following:
what else can I do?
what else can I do?
Look in Diagnostics -> Processes
Something is accessing that raid array that is preventing it from being stopped.
Found a 3 year thread on here post the output of lsof /dev/md127
thank you for looking
The link I had posted shows Diagnostik > Processes (doesn`t is?)

you missed the / before dev that's why it failed look at what I typed
The link I had posted shows Diagnostik > Processes (doesn`t is?)
No, your image is the gui of the running services, tells us nothing
sorry for the missetake
it seems as it happen nothing...
root@OMVneu:~# lsof /dev/md127
root@OMVneu:~#
it seems as it happen nothing...
That would suggest there are no open files on the array which makes no sense.
Let's see if it will force a stop mdadm --stop --force /dev/md127 if that errors again then look at the output of this
ps aux the list will be long but you are looking for something that is accessing the raid or a reference to Plex
root@OMVneu:~# mdadm --stop -- force /dev/md127
mdadm: No devices given.

That makes no sense

could for this be the problem that Putty is running ?
could for this be the problem that Putty is running ?
Putty should be on the remote machine, how are you running these commands are you using ssh via putt from another machine or are you typing directly on omv via it's own command line?
to copy the results to post it to you I again changed to putty (on my windows pc).
I can also put the commands in on the omv line, if nessessary. I´ve just to switch the keyboard.
I can also put the commands in on the omv line, if nessessary.
Do everything via putty from your windows pc leave omv alone that's the idea of using putty.
This still doesn't help as to why the array will not stop.
what's the output of mdadm --detail /dev/md127
ok I`ll stay on Putty.

So back to the GUI, leave Putty alone, Raid Management click recover on the menu bar, does a dialog come up? and does it display /dev/sdd?
