service nfs-common start (Not starting: portmapper is not running)

    Hi,
    after updating OMV on BananaPi (BanaNAS), the system can't start NFS. When trying to launch the service manually by running service nfs-common start I get the following error:
    Starting NFS common utilities: statd
    Not starting: portmapper is not running ... (warning).


    How can I fix this?

    I had to do this for the RPi image as well:


    update-rc.d rpcbind defaults
    update-rc.d rpcbind enable

    Those commands make it start on boot every time. So, you shouldn't have to run them again.

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel
