pyload not starting

Hi there,
I reinstalled the pyload plugin from the omv webinterface today but it won't start anymore through activation via webinterface.

Also when I manually call /etc/init.d/pyload start it doesn't start. Although the output seems like it:

# /etc/init.d/pyload start
Starting pyload: done

It only starts via

su pyload
python /etc/usr/share/pyload/pyLoadCore.py

which is definately not the way to do it...

Does anybody have an idea what could be going wrong here?

I resolved it!

After uninstalling pyload, the folder /var/run/pyload was still owned by the old pyload user's UID. The new pyload user with a new UID couldn't create pyload.pid in this folder after reinstalling.

Maybe this dir should be deleted during uninstall?

Ok, then I must have screwed up at some point.
