Hello. When i use the Web Interface and click on Greyhole. Nothing.. I installed all new. I also installed Mysql new, but nothing is happening. Have anybody a tip for me? Sorry for my bad english.
Greyhole is not Running after OMV Update
-
- OMV 2.x
- NorthernLight
-
-
I found the problem. Give me a bit to fix it.
-
Fixed in openmediavault-greyhole 2.0 in stoneburner-greyhole repo now.
-
Good work. But now i dont can see the pools. And when i install the database, go to activate. It gives a message:
Invalid method parameter: db_message does not exist, and it is not an optional property.Any idea whats going wrong. I can not klick on Pools, Samba Share or import data.
More information from the message:

I'm having the same issue as Nord is. So I'll be following along with programs.
-
same problem....i upgraded to 2.1, greyhole was not installed, i installed it and nothing happens when i click on it.
omv-mkconf omvextrasorg aptclean does not fix the problem. -
I also get that: GPG error: http://download.opensuse.org Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY
not sure if it's related.... -
The plugin works in my VM. Try clearing your browser cache. I switched the type of display that db_message is and your browser having old cache would cause this problem.
The opensuse error is unrelated. You probably have it enabled for owncloud??
-
Cleared cache. I've tried on 2 different PCs one of which had never been to the page to cache it. Also tried on my phone and I still get the same db_message error.

What is the output of:
dpkg -l | grep openmediavault
dpkg -l | grep greyholeThat said, I am getting an installation error (maybe this is part of your problem) when installing just greyhole on a fresh Debian system - maybe @gboudreau has an idea about this:

-
ran omv-mkconf omvextrasorg aptclean
cleared cache
Same error
tried different browser
same errorWhy are there not more reports of this error? I'm new to OMV so is this a new version that not many are using yet? Am I just super lucky to get an odd bug? lol

Try apt-get update then try to re-install Greyhole. You should get 0.9.61-4, which should fix that. -

I guess you posted just before I did, I didn't see yours, I'll work on that.
