but when i close the console the error comes again....
i think the problem is running as service :roll:
If you close the console, it ends the program. Did you try the command I posted? Can you post the contents of /etc/default/virtualbox
Did it work after the restart command but before rebooting?
The shared drive you select for virtualbox is mounted and working, right?
are you using http or https?
http :roll:
yes the drive is mounted and working if i start it in the console everything works fine.
How do you access OMV web-gui? http or https?
i access omv webgui over http port 80
standard setting.
Try changing the 127.0.0.1 in /etc/default/virtualbox to 0.0.0.0 and then /etc/init.d/vboxweb-service restart
i stopped the service
changed the ip to 0.0.0.0 in /etc/default/virtualbox
# defaults for virtualbox
# sourced by vboxweb-service on startup
VBOXWEB_USER=vbox
VBOXWEB_HOST=0.0.0.0
start the service
root@openmediavault:~# /etc/init.d/vboxweb-service restart
Starting VirtualBox web service:done..
root@openmediavault:~#
same problem again
From the command line you are starting at root. Did you try changing permissions on the virtual machine share to give r/w permssions to vbox? If that doesn't work...
This would definitely not be an ideal fix but try changing the VBOXWEB_USER from vbox to root.
i think it´s not the problem to reach the ip adress
if i stop the vboxwebsrv service
i get this error
but why i get the error with the 127.0.0.1 ??? there should be 0.0.0.0
i edit the /etv/default/virtualbox ip to 0.0.0.0 ???
if i start the service again i get
The IP address change was a shot in the dark. Worked in another forum but I don't think it was same issue now.
i added the user vbox to group root
but no change was detected....
user vbox hat permissions on the virtual machine share
