OMV on M.2-SSD, is unused storeagefree for VMs?

Hi,
I have a Dell T20 equipped with 3 WD red 3TB as storage and a 750GB SSD for VMs.
in addition I have a 128 GB ssd used as system-drive.
I want to install OMV on this frive connected via USB.
Is i possible to use the unused storage for VMs?
I want to run OMV and as VM Windows 10 and steam-OS in a sceond VM.

Is this possible or is any storage on the M2-ssd inaccesable if OMV is installes on it?

I klnow I can´t use the remaining storage for data, but I dont know if I can use the remaining storage vor VMs, wich should be seen as a part of the installes addons for OMV.

You could create two partition on your M2-ssd, one for OMV (which will than not be accessible as storage) and the remaining space as a second partition (which you can use at your will).
