So I've tried following a couple tutorials for manually installing certain features like sickbeard and no-ip, but even after following the way to make them start at boot (like in this tutorial, http://www.togaware.com/linux/survivor/No_IP_Manual.html or this one http://www.hobo-geek.com/2013/…ard-debian-based-oss.html, and this one http://lefoxdufue.wordpress.co…smission-on-ubuntu-12-04/), they never start at boot, I have to manually run the programs to get them to work. is there something I'm missing? I'm used to standard init.d script adding based on a tutorial to make things boot at start or using something like
. Does OMV work differently or are the standard auto run scripts in init.d not allowed?
