OMV 4.x tempareature monitoring and fan controll

  • Hi all,

I'm new in the world of OMV. I hope you can help a beginner ^^

A want to build a NAS. I have a raspberry 3B with an OMV 4.19.66 installed on it. I want to set up a cpu and hdd monitor and a fan controll to avoid overheating of the device.

I read that there was a sensor option in earlier 3.x version but i found nothing for 4.x

Could you help me, how to solve my problem?

    Thanks

First, you should use OMV 5.x.

Second, whey do you think you will overheat an RPi (especially a 3b)?

Third, I don't think the sensors plugin ever showed hard drive temps or worked with an RPi.

Finally, lots of usb hard drive enclosures don't report the hard temp.
