I used to access my OMV server with the Domain name I setup in OMV. On OMV GUI in the Network tab it was set as abcserver.local which worked great for a long time. I then got a new router, and actually set in the router a static IP address for the server. It may have been shortly after that it quit working. I have scripts setup to run rsync on the local computers to backup to the server. I had to go in and edit all those to run with the IP address. This is all working fine with the IP address. I want to be able to use the domain name though. How can I fix this?
I only access the server through the web browser with the IP address now, and through ssh again with the IP. I want to be able to access it with the Domain name again. Thanks for any help with this.
