Hello,
for long time I'm struggeling getting Wake-on-LAN running on my Dell T30, running on the latest version of OMV 5.
First of all I followed the instructions here: https://www.dell.com/support/k…-your-dell-system?lang=en and activated everything mentioned in the introduction.
When I check the interface config of my ethernet card, I see the following:
root@server:~# sudo ethtool enp0s31f6

What I've read is, that when these two parameters are set as they are set, WOL is activated:
When I select in the OMV web ui "Shutdown", then the orange led of the network interface is blinking. I then send a package from my windows PC via wol.exe like this:
ZitatWOL.exe 2.1 - Wake-On-LAN Utility - http://www.Gammadyne.com
Copyright (C) 2000-2017 by Greg Wittmeyer - All Rights Reserved
Wake-up packet sent successfully.
ZitatI get the following message:
WOL.exe 2.1 - Wake-On-LAN Utility - http://www.Gammadyne.com

No internal networking adapter has the IP address <IP>
Is anyone able and willing to help me? Would be a great help, since I'm using my server only when I'm at home and not permanently, therefore, it would be a great help and I could move the server into the cellar, where it doesn't disturb me with its noise.
Thanks and kind regards,
Felix
