Hallo liebe Community,
ich bin neu in der Welt von OMV und habe es auf einen Mini-PC installiert (Wen die genauen Daten interessieren: Amazon: B099KKVY4B).
Dieser hat einen Intel Celeron J4125 und 8GB RAM sowie eine 120GB Rom (keine SSD, die befindet sich noch in der Zulieferung).
Ich möchte später eine 12TB HDD per USB3 an den Mini-PC anschließen und als Medienserver nutzen.
Um das zu testen habe ich erstmal Proxmox installiert und dann OMV als VM drauf gepackt (der PC soll auch noch für IO-Broker, Teamspeak Server etc. herhalten)
Zum Testen habe ich dann meinen SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.1 Stick mit 128Gb an den USB Port eingesteckt und nach vielen erfolglosen versuchen habe ich es dann irgendwann geschafft, das der Stick in OMV zu sehen war und ich die Freigaben einrichten konnte. Von meinem Windows Rechner habe ich dann einen Film darauf kopiert was mit tollen 110mb/s funktioniert hat. Nach einen Systemneustart konnte ich dann aber nur noch LESEND auf den Stick per SMB zugriefen. Also habe ich hin und her probiert und irgendwann hatte ich dann wohl verstanden wie das so mit USB Stick mounten und weiterleiten so alles geht.
ABER ich kann jetzt nur noch mit 11MB/s auf den Stick schreiben. Das sieht für mich total nach 100MBit/s Begrenzung aus.
Kann man das irgendwo einstellen? Ich habe (ja ich weiß das sagen alle) nichts an den Einstellungen geändert.
ich habe sogar das ganze System (Proxmox + OMV) komplett neu aufgesetzt, aber immer nur 11MB/s. (per FTP übrigens auch).
Der Mini-PC ist mit Gigabit verbunden (laut Fritzbox und Switch Lampen, sowie Linux Anfrag) + (Proxmox selber kann Imagedateien mit ca. 110MB/s laden)
USB-Stick habe ich ausgetauscht, selbes Problem, zurück an einem PC kann ich mit 270MB/s auf den Stick kopieren, der ist also i.O.
Laut Linux ist der Stick als UBS3 verbunden.
Und das verrückte ist, es hat ja am Anfang mal funktioniert, bis ich das System neu gestartet habe und seitdem nur noch 11MB/s.
Ich hoffe ihr habt noch ein paar Ideen für mich, was ich testen könnte. In Linux arbeite ich mich erst ein, da bin ich noch Anfänger.

I am new to the world of OMV and have it installed on a mini PC (if you are interested in the exact data: Amazon: B099KKVY4B).
This has an Intel Celeron J4125 and 8GB RAM as well as a 120GB ROM (no SSD, which is still in the delivery).
I would like to connect a 12TB HDD to the mini-PC via USB3 later and use it as a media server.
To test this, I first installed Proxmox and then put OMV on it as a VM (the PC should also be used for IO brokers, Teamspeak servers, etc.)
For testing I then plugged my SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.1 stick with 128Gb into the USB port and after many unsuccessful attempts I finally managed to see the stick in OMV and set up the shares. From my Windows computer I then copied a film onto it which worked with a great 110mb / s. After a system restart, I could only READ to the stick via SMB. So I tried back and forth and at some point I had understood how to mount and forward everything with a USB stick.
BUT I can only write to the stick with 11MB / s now. For me that looks totally like a 100MBit / s limit.
Can you configure that somewhere? I have not (yes, everyone says that) changed anything in the settings.
I even set up the whole system (Proxmox + OMV) from scratch, but only 11MB / s. (by the way also via FTP).

I exchanged a USB stick, same problem, back on a PC I can copy to the stick with 270MB / s, so it's OK.
According to Linux, the stick is connected as UBS3.
And the crazy thing is, it worked in the beginning until I restarted the system and only 11MB / s since then.
I hope you have a few more ideas for me what I could test. I'm just getting used to Linux because I'm still a beginner.
