Reinstall OMV5 meets "E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)"

  • I'm using a RaspberryPi 3B+ and the Raspbian version is Buster.

    Last week I removed, purge and reinstall python 3.7 by mistake, then omv was uninstalled along with it. When I reinstalled omv again, I got errors.

    When I use "sudo apt-get install openmediavault" or "sudo dpkg --configure -a", it shows:

    When using sudo apt-get install -f, it shows:

    When I log in at the omv login screen and enter my account password, it reports the error:"Failed to connect to socket: No such file or directory"

    Clicking on Show details shows:

    error #0:
    OMV\Rpc\Exception: Failed to connect to socket: No such file or directory in /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/
    Stack trace:
    #0 /var/www/openmediavault/rpc/ OMV\Rpc\Rpc::call('UserMgmt', 'authUser', Array, Array, 2, true)
    #1 [internal function]: OMVRpcServiceSession->login(Array, Array)
    #2 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/ call_user_func_array(Array, Array)
    #3 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/ OMV\Rpc\ServiceAbstract->callMethod('login', Array, Array)
    #4 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/rpc/proxy/ OMV\Rpc\Rpc::call('Session', 'login', Array, Array, 3)
    #5 /var/www/openmediavault/rpc.php(45): OMV\Rpc\Proxy\Json->handle()
    #6 {main}

    If I try to reinstall the error packages, for example “sudo apt-get install --reinstall avahi-daemon”,it shows:

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 reinstalled, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
    4 not fully installed or removed.
    After this operation, 0 B of additional disk space will be used.
    E: Internal Error, No file name for avahi-daemon:armhf

    Is there any way to reinstall omv correctly please? I really don't want to reinstall my Raspbian.
