Importing omv5 unionFS disks to omv6 mergerFS

  • Hi,

I'm setting up a new openmediavault 6 server in a Dell Wyse 5070.

I had 6 disks setup in my old openmedia 5 box with unionFS and shared with my Windows and android boxes.

Just wondering what's the best way to move the disks from the old to the new server.

Also, any hint or recomendation o how to configure MergerFS would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

unionfs is mergerfs. But since it just sits on top of existing filesystems, there is nothing telling the system that the disks are a mergerfs pool. Just install omv 6, install the mergerfs plugin, and just configure a new pool like you did on OMV 5.x.
