Hi,
I know there already are several threads mentioning similar issues but none of the fixes I found here or on GitHub worked.
I manage 3 OMV NASes personally: 1 for me at home, 1 for family members and 1 for a friend.
All 3 are installed exactly the same way and configured quite similarly (installed on Debian 11) with similar hardware (Atom or low-TDP Pentium).
Mine and family's are working smoothly but since recently I have an issue with my friend's:
Each openmediavault package update takes ages and hangs at the "salt" step for a long time.
If I run this (that I saw take a long time during the apt upgrade process):
/usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/salt-call --local --retcode-passthrough -l all state.orchestrate omv.stage.prepare
I can see that this process hangs at this step for several minutes:
Is there any way I can find what's wrong?
The updates do end, eventually and the system is running fine overall.
I've tried to remove any host domain name.
The "hostname --all-fqdns" command returns 3 times the same (correct) name.
Host has 2 NICs: 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.11 with different services bound to each interface. DNS server is the same as the default gateway: 192.168.1.1
I've disabled IPv6.
I'm lost... Any help appreciated, please
