How is it possible to screw such a basic and important package? Any idea how to fix it?
Is anything broken? Hit ctrl-shift-R. I've posted this a lot but when you install a plugin, it restarts omv-engined which occasionally will cause a loss of connection. This doesn't break anything.

It should be. Closing the browser during the install of a plugin won't stop the install. The following will confirm the plugin is properly installed if the first column has the status ii
dpkg -l | grep openmediavault

The ftp plugin looks fine but the sftp plugin didn't finish installing. It would run: sudo apt-get -f install

Strange. Do you want the sftp plugin? If you do, I would sudo apt-get install openmediavault-sftp
when I click to sftp then I get red error page....
ctrl-shift-R especially if you install from the command line.
