Zeroconf/Bonjour/mDNS name is changing or disappearing

Hope somebody sheds some light on this.

I am using OMV6 as time machine backup for my Mac. Basically it is Samba (SMB) share with TimeMachine extensions enabled. My Mac looks up my OMV6 by its Zeroconf/Bonjour/mDNS name.

However, it is frequently changing its name for example omv6.local to omv6-2.local, omv6-3.local etc.

I understands it finds conflict with "itself".

Why is this happening? How can I fix it?

I changed router already, looked at network etc, yet everything seems fine.

I have MacBook Pro updated to latest.

So it seems problem is with both Ethernet and wifi connection being active. I have disabled Wifi, rebooted and since then it is always omv6.local as it should be.

So why is omv being lost when having 2 connections? I like having quick ethernet and still having backup wifi in case I move device and still want to connect and manage it.
