    Below is command output.

    root@omv:~# sudo wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…ckages/raw/master/install | bash

If you want to install OMV7 to test, after you have a working Debian 12 lite system, run the install script with the -b flag

OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/installScript: script that installs omv-extras and openmediavault if not installed already. (github.com)

    Code
    wget https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/installScript/raw/master/install

  • Your system had some pending updates that are causing this issue

But does it make sense that it was showing amd64 and raspi-firmware on the same update?

  • After running below code.

    wget https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…Script/raw/master/installchmod +x install
    sudo ./install -b

It is OK. Now Omv-Extras works.

but Compose installation gives below error.

The raspi-firmware package is in all architecture in the bookworm repo. So, it can be installed on any system. No idea why it is installed on this system though. It should removed but OMV/omv-extras didn't install it.

I have just downloaded OMV7 and installed, after apt-get update and upgrade command. I tried to install Omv-Extras.

raspi-firmware is installed from the iso. sudo apt-get purge raspi-firmware but it didn't cause any problems on my fresh install from iso. I was able to install omv-extras without issue either.

votdev, this package should removed from the iso in my opinion.

yes. Just to be clear, none of this had anything to do with omv-extras. You just have to have apt in a good place to install omv-extras (or any new package).
