low networkspeed with intel x710

  • Hi I have a intel x710-DA4 and only about 260-300MB/S als downloadspeed from a smb shaare from a ssd wich is connectesd to a LSI 9400-i16.


    MY LSI Card is connected to a pcie 16x 3.0 (by 8x) and my x710-DA4 ist connected to another pcie 16x 3.0 (by 8x).

    I have also tried to add "pcie_aspm=off" in my grub but nothing chached on the link speed at my x710. I also upaded the Fw to the newest version (9.4). Maybe i have to update the driver but i dont know how its be done my current version ist:

    mybe someone can help me to get better Network performence. The Switch i am using is a Tp-Link SG3428X-M2 connected to a win11 pc with x550-T2 card via a dac cable server->switch->sfp+10g module to x550

  • Okay i found the problem. I messed up my smb settings. My old setting was:


    getwd cache = yes

    read raw = yes

    write raw = yes

    socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=65536 SO_SNDBUF=65536

    max xmit = 65535


    Which was fine for 2.5g and 1g but for 10g ist messed up. Only thing whats now in config ist:


    getwd cache = yes


    and ill reach 1.03 Gb/s
