roundcube error "Connection to storage server failed"roundcube

    I am running iredmail with TLS/SSL encryption on debian and trying to connect with the roundcube plugin. I can connect using Outlook to the server just fine. The iredmail server is a virtual which is running inside of OMV. When I try t connect I am getting the error Connection to storage server failed. I can't seem to find a log file for roundcube.


    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Did you install the database? If yes, did you verify in the sql management tab that it is actually there?

    Location? I am talking about the database structure in mysql. Can you post a pic of the tables in mysql?

    I had to pipe it to a file and download it then cut and paste. For some reason I can't seem to copy from the ssh window...

    Did you reset the mysql password and enable the mysql plugin? If so, try


    mysql -u root -p - if you reset the password, it would be openmediavault
    show databases; - look for wordpress database
    use wordpress; - or different database if wordpress database is named other than wordpress
    show tables; - if any are shown, it is probably setup correctly.

    Did you reset the password? If not, it is blank. I would reset it just to be sure and try: openmediavault.

    I tried a reset from the interface but no joy. still can't connect.
    I compared the permissions and owner with another that is working and it looks fine.
    BTW I have access to the DB through another user that I had set up which can see them fine.
